It’s important to note that this feature is only available in certain countries. However, the new feature is coming soon to users around the world.
If you want to know how to activate Silent Mode when traveling in your country, here are simple and short steps to follow.
- Open the Instagram app on Android and iOS devices
- Tap the icon Profile in the lower right corner of the application
- Tap the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner
- Select > Settings > Notifications > Quiet Mode
- To activate it, simply toggle the switch
Instagram asks teens to use the silent mode feature when browsing at night so that notifications don’t disturb them.
