Twitter CEO Explains What “X” Means as a Substitute for Twitter’s Name

Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino explained the meaning of X, which is the replacement name for Twitter. It turns out that the name X is the company’s attempt to make the application transform to make it more attractive in the future.

Through the Twitter account @lindayacc on Monday (24/07/2023), the new CEO of Twitter said that the meaning of X is the transformation of the Twitter application which will be even more complete. Because the name X will later be accompanied by various application changes and new features.

“X is the future state of seamless interactivity – centered on audio, video, messaging, payments or banking. Create global markets for ideas, goods, services and opportunities. Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we are only just beginning to imagine,” explains Linda Yaccarino.

Twitter has been preparing for this name change since the end of 2022, including the latest features. However, the woman from the United States has not provided any information regarding when the Twitter name change to X was made.

“For years, fans and critics alike have pushed Twitter to dream bigger, innovate faster, and fulfill our great potential. X will do that and more. We’ve started to see X take shape over the last 8 months through our rapid feature rollout, but we’re just getting started,” he said.

Linda guarantees that there are no limits to the transformation carried out by Twitter after changing its name to X. She and Elon Musk and other teams at the company are ready to present many of the latest innovations after the official application name changes.
