Telkomsel released a bundling package for Umrah pilgrims, called the RoaMAX Umroh Internet Package – Takaful. Internet packages with roaming quota start from IDR 295,000.
In an effort to support the smooth and comfortable digital connectivity of value-added customers during Umrah worship in the Holy Land, Telkomsel is collaborating with General Takaful Travel Insurance to present the RoaMAX Umroh – Takaful Internet Package.
Unlike other bundling packages, Telkomsel’s newest package offers Telkomsel internet roaming bundling products with Takaful Safari travel insurance products.
With this package, Telkomsel customers who are performing Umrah in the Holy Land can enjoy internet roaming product offers with Takaful travel insurance bundling which has a benefit value of up to IDR 50 million.

“We present a package offer that supports the convenience of accessing digital communications for customers who are Umrah pilgrims, while at the same time providing guaranteed protection during the pilgrimage,” said Telkomsel’s VP Postpaid Consumer International Roaming and Interconnect, Bernadus Wahyu Wijayanto.
Through an official statement received on Friday (31/03/2023), the RoaMAX Umroh – Takaful Internet package can be obtained starting from IDR 295 thousand and will get a data/internet roaming quota of up to 12 GB, and an active period of up to 17 days.
Roaming data quota can be enjoyed in Saudi Arabia up to 10 GB and in transit countries up to 2 GB, which includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, Singapore, Malaysia, Oman and Australia.
As for the benefits of the Takaful Safari insurance product, up to IDR 50,000,000 includes types of protection, such as Death Due to an Accident and Permanent Disability Due to an Accident.
Then Medical Treatment Due to Accidents, Failure to Depart/Travel Delays, up to Damage and/or Loss of Baggage, with coverage areas covering Saudi Arabia and 12 transit countries.
Telkomsel customers, both Telkomsel Prepaid and postpaid Telkomsel Halo users, can buy RoaMAX Umroh – Takaful Internet Packages through the MyTelkomsel Application.
After setting the activation schedule and making a purchase from the application, the customer will receive an SMS containing a link to the insurance activation page and a special voucher code.
Customers can then register for Takaful Travel Insurance by entering the required information on the activation page and entering the voucher code sent earlier via SMS.

After activating, the customer will receive an e-Policy via email and enjoy additional convenience and security according to the time and validity period of the selected package.
